What this site collects

This is a showcase site. It has no customer area, no user account and no advertising tracker. It offers a single, optional contact form, on the Services page. When you simply browse it, only anonymous visitor statistics are produced (see “Audience measurement” below): no data that could identify you is kept.

Stays are booked on the Yelloh Village platform, to which our “Book” buttons lead. The data you enter there is processed by Yelloh Village under its own privacy policy.

When you contact us

If you write to us, call us or fill in the contact form of your own accord, we process the following data:

• Data concerned : name, email address, the dates you have in mind if you give them, and the content of your message.
• Purpose : to answer your enquiry and, where appropriate, prepare your stay.
• Legal basis : your own voluntary approach, then the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the stay contract.
• Retention period : three years from the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires longer.
• Recipients : the campsite’s own staff only. Messages from the form are sent by e-mail from our host o2switch, whose servers are located in France. Your data is never sold, rented or passed to third parties.

Third-party services called by your browser

Displaying the site calls on a few external resources. Typefaces and images are served from our own server. The services below technically receive your IP address; apart from Google Analytics, if you have accepted it, no cookie is set by us:

• Google Analytics — audience measurement, loaded only if you accepted it in the banner shown on your first visit. See the “Cookie settings” page.
• Ouinet (Umami): cookie-free audience measurement, anonymous statistics hosted in France (details below).
• Cloudflare (cdnjs) — the library that displays the interactive map.
• Esri and OpenStreetMap — map tiles, on the “Around us” page only.

Audience measurement. This site uses Umami, a cookie-free audience measurement tool hosted in France by our provider Ouinet. It produces anonymous statistics (pages viewed, referral source, device type, approximate country and city, visit duration, actions such as a phone call or a form submission) used solely to run and improve this site. Your IP address is not stored, no persistent identifier is created (the visit fingerprint changes every day), no data is passed on to third parties or combined with other processing, and the statistics are deleted after 25 months. In line with the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority), this measurement does not require your consent. You can object to it at any time with the button below: your visits will then only be counted, with no other information.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you.

To exercise them, write to us at info@campinglacapricieuse.com or by post to our registered office. Proof of identity may be requested.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data you entrust to us.

Changes

This policy may change, in particular if new features are added to the site. The date it was last updated appears at the top of the page.
